I am a solo game developer who makes games for fun!
I like to make local couch co-op games.

I have been developing games personally for over 20 years. I create games mostly because it’s a fun creative outlet and I love to make people laugh while having fun.

I mostly enjoy creating 2D games especially for kids, and also older style 16 bit era games. Over the last 10 years I have become very good at my preferred tool being Game Maker Studio.

I love the history of games as I have grown up with them all my life. I see games as a form of active entertainment similar to board games and sports, with passive being movies and TV shows or even books. I believe games are for everyone, young or old, tech savvy or not. Game design can also be for everyone, just as story telling can be, but more active as you are creating an “active experience” vs a “passive story”.

I also love the non-video game design process and have developed several table top and board games as well. My time is a bit limited though as I do work a full time job and have a family.
